It seems to be doing good. It's coming off around the bevel on the mag well, but holding up pretty well on the rest of the gun. Even where the stock rubs the receiver extension.

I was going for multicam, but decided I didn't have the patience and wasn't artistic enough to pull it off.

DD CHF Midgas barrel started out 16 then cut to 14.7 & pinned with KAC NTSS-4 suppressor mount. DD BCG. KAC URX II Rifle length. KAC 2-600 meter rear BUIS PRI Gasbuster CH I have shot this in 2 comps now and really like it. I was able to make first round hits at 500 on man sized steel in one stage. The BDC in the Trijicon was quite helpfull.

What handguard?

It is an LMT MRP upper (rifle length) with a factory 14.5in barrel and perm'd MB556K. The upper is monolithic, so it isn't a separate handguard.

Yes and no. You are correct in that it balances much better with the DBAL further back. However, my left thumb does interfere with the IR laser while activating the switch. Vis laser is unobstructed under normal shooting conditions. Of course everything is opposite once I go reaction-side.
