Anyone have any experience with this ammo?  Accuracy, reliability, velocity results?  For the same price, is it superior to the 150 grain variant?  I know that Federal Fusion is very low pressure loaded in 223, is it the same with how it is loaded for 308?

I centerpunched a PA whitetail with it from a 16 inch barrelled savage boltaction. He was standing facing me at 125 yards and he flipped over upside down and was DOA

it also held a nice 1,5-2 inch group at 200 yards in my AR308

What are you using it for?

For whitetail, I prefer 150 grain .308 loads.  They penetrate more than enough and kill really well.

For brown bear, elk, moose, etc, I would probably want the 180 grain stuff.

165 is a nice compromise between the 2.

As I recall from sighting in the 180 after establishing a zero with the 150, the 180 printed a similar sized group, just offset a few inches at 100.
I gave it a few clicks and got it centered on a 6 inch bull. A couple of weeks later, I was sitting on a stump watching the buck walk towards me at 125, parallax was set to 100, he paused, boom

i saw feet in the air thru the scope as he flipped over.
