I'm strongly considering building a 338 ARC upper for hog hunting with subs. I've heard enough about the cartridge that I'm thinking I'll give it a try. I plan to only hunt with subs, and factory ammo such as the Hornady 307g Sub-X. I'll suppress of course. Just wondering what the 'best' barrel length would be. Need to get the most out of the sub ammo I can but keep it short as possible. Love to hear real world experience. |
