Thanks for sharing wolfgang,

Interesting to see so clearly the construction of the bullet. The construction is very similar with the russian 57-n-231 (M43) bullet, not too difficult to quess what was the origin of the russian "design"

.

Take a look at the base of the case. Only one flashhole from the primer pocket. Another late war cost-saving feature of the german ammo.

I think the jacket is made from the cupro-nickel alloy. The material around the core is lead I presume.

And I must admit, ( yes I know the history of the two cartridges... ), it looks like a "Mini Me" version of the 7.62x39, LOL
