Anyone have or build a 9mm PCC with a PSA upper, run Endomags with a Rare Breed trigger?  Thinking of building one, but curious how well that combo runs.  I've seen a few vids where the rare breed trigger has issues with certain bolt shapes and curious if the PSA upper/bolt is good to go with the Rare Breed trigger.

I do know that the FRT will not work with the PSA AR V. It comes in contact with the rear of the bolt not allowing the upper to close.

I installed a RB FRT-15 in one of my SBR lowers yesterday, carbine spring with H3 buffer.

I ran one 20 rd mag 5.56 from 10.5", with SilencerCo Omega, through it. Just controlled double shot bursts.

I also own a factory CMMG Guard 8" 9mm pistol, so I moved its upper to the SBR lower with FRT-15.

I ran three endomags filled with 9mm through the guard upper, no extra weight in carrier, with Thompson Machine SG-2. It functioned fine using the same spring and H3 buffer. Two of the mags I was just shooting to get a feel for it. Was successful in getting single shots several times, with the occasional double or triple. Did one 9mm mag dump, functioned properly, this trigger is fun.

A Fostech (with upgraded trigger springs) resides in my CMMG lower, so I'm used to doubles. Doubles from the FRT-15 trigger are faster and more fun.

I installed one in a FM-9.  Seems to work fine, so they work in at least *some* 9mm guns...

ETA> Actually, not so much.  Did seem to get it running, though.  Took a bit of coaxing to do so...

Oldish thread but I thought I’d post for anyone else researching stuff.

The quote above is incorrect.   It definitely works in the AR-V I’ve installed them in 2 different AR-Vs and they run great with an H2 and H3 buffer. Just pull the bolt back a hair when you close it.

@ShooterMcgavin157   Just fyi Put it in your AR-V and be merry etc…
