My rifle was too long, so I spent $200 and waited 6 months to make it shorter. Then it was too loud, so I spent another $200 and waited another 6 months to make it quieter. This made it longer again.

SB SOB brace, MagPul MBUS rear sight, MagPul trigger guard, a sling loop lockplate, and a Blackhawk latchless charging handle that I'm trying out. I haven't made it to the range yet since I assembled this, so I haven't fired it yet, but it's got a nice feel to it. I finally found someone who makes a BCG extension for the JP SCS to work with the Law Tactical folder. It was about $60 but totally worth it to me. Not a shill, can't find the link but they are made by LongRangeShootersOfUtah.

It's a bit longer than most SB specific tubes and fills out the entire SBM4 (no gap at the rear like with the KAK Super Sig), and it matches up nicely with the lines of the brace. The extra length of the APF also helps to get a 10.3/10.5 gun well over 26" OAL (around 27" and change) to add a proper KAC VFG. I originally had a Blade on it that was rattle canned to match, but after trying an SBM4, I had to get one for this, too. I've been tempted a few times to try painting the SBM4, but being rubber, I doubt it would work out very well. |
