I think they still make them but the cost went up a LOT last time I looked at them. It will hold 3 DMAGs in the main body along with at least one PMAG, and you still have some room for other items. I keep a Mechanix suppressor pad in there and some small tools and a BCG. The outside pockets hold 5 PMAGs in a 2/1/2 arrangement. The flaps are adjustable so I think you could get PMAG 40s in those. ETA: It has a slash pocket on the back that you could put flat items in. I use that for a notebook. I can take some more pics in a little while to show more detail. |

I found it on their site, $250.  https://www.originalsoegear.com/products/active-shooter-bag IIRC, that's who made my "Rifleman's Bag". I think that's what it was called anyways. Midway's "AR-15 Essential Bug Out Range Bag" or one of the LAPG bags are more affordable options although I don't own any D60s so I can't comment on their fit. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/939579089?pid=579089 LAPG's "Tactical Zombie Hunter MOLLE Gear Bag" is $29 right now (https://lapolicegear.com/lapg-zombie-hunter-bag.html) and looks similar to a Country Comm bag I got years ago; somehow I think Rock6 figures into these purchases.

Yeah that price went way up. I am positive I didn’t pay anywhere near that much for it. I have the 5.11 version of the Midway bag. Good bag, but bigger than what I wanted to go with this rifle. I just wanted something I could through ammo in and sling together that would give about 300-360 rounds added to a chest or belt rig. The LAPG bag looks very close in terms of size and capacity to the OSOE bag for a much lower cost. Would probably be a good bag. |

I have a old LAPD gear bag and it was like $25 and nice. I have since bought some of the midway usa bandoleers and they work good as well. I know some of yall are doing the SAW at home builds and came across this. LINK Attached File I have also seen on IG guys getting a simple hardware store hinge and screwing it to a ammo can and cutting the top latch section so it opens up. If I can find a pic will share it. |

| Legit question, why are so many people running a can on their setup? If someone can tell me their reasons I’m interested. I ask because heat is the enemy of a closed bolt and the can adds more heat. I’m not sure the reliability of some of these different set ups but the can puts more back pressure and gunk into the lower and it also speeds up the ROF which leads to faster consumption of ammo. I’m typically all for putting a can on something but the LSW/IAR I think is one I would want to keep it off of. |

But this type of weapon will never be shooting as many rounds as a belt fed. I don't think any of those reliability concerns would be experienced in one engagement/range session. For bleeding edge efficiency; unsuppressed probably makes a little more sense. But if you're really trying to maximize the role, you should be using an M240 anyway.

I was a SAWgunner 20 years ago. I wish I had a suppressor on my saw. Now a days Marines supress their IARs. |
