I am not at the level that most of you guys are at, but I do like shooting my Canon as much as firearms.
Hope this one fits in here. 2Q0A1027-Edit-2 by JBM DC, on Flickr |

My thoughts are its a good budget optic. The glass isn't quite as clear as my Bushnell 1-4 but it's got a lower external diameter which obscures your view less when looking through it (pretty big difference at 1x). The scope isn't quite 1x but none of the budget ones are that I've played with (even a Vortex, though I forget the model). I do prefer it's additional power over a 1-4. It's reticle is a little busy but it's clear and crisp. I like that you cannot see the illumination from in front of the rifle (my Bushnell you can). Eye box at x6 is SMALL. Overall, it's great for the price! I have found though that a 1-4 or 1-6 ins't what I'm looking for due to my budget. I can't stand the non true to 1x. To get it I would need to spend considerably more money that I don't have. I think I'll be looking PA's 4-14. Pic thread SMOS by Damage Photos, on Flickr |

Really love this little carbine.
Upper is Colt 6920, but it's been cut by Specialized Armament to a 14.5 looking setup. It's very unique. Total length of the barrel is barely the 16" civilian legal required; just really a tad longer than the actual military length. I wanted that new grey Magpul look of the plastic, contemporary carbine and went for it. Good thing they weren't around when this thread got started, as there are pics (and posts) with no AR15s on the very first page. They would have junior-modded this thread out of existence before it even got started. |

For being a "featureless" option it's actually very good looking. |
