I build a carbine length upper with a Osprey piston kit I bought years ago. I used a standard gas block. Is it worth while to try and source an adjustable gas block for it? Not sure if a Superlative gas block or a Adams Arms (if I can find one) will work? Is it needed?

Unneeded.  The selling point of the Osprey was the large piston cup made the system self regulating.  Shouldn't hurt it, just might have to turn to max gas to get it to run, making the adjustable bit pointless.

If you have a high speed camera, would be cool to get video of it operating w/ the handguards off.
