bought one of these to put on a piggybacked RMR and the thing doesn't fit as snuggly as I thought it would. It snaps in place but a light bump or brushing it up against something will more than likely knock it loose. Anybody use one and have any good methods to securely attach it? Or is it one of those things that is better off left in the parts box? ETA. I've thought about putting a piece of tape over the front and shooting acculuded but thought the cover would be better. This |

Personally, I get the Opticguard covers on everything, plus the cover itself is designed to retain an ARD or the protective lens cover. But they're also very unobtrusive due to their small size. Here's some on my Holosun 507 and SCS including ARD that fits flush with the front of the cover. https://opticgard.com/products/trijicon-rmr-scope-cover-tpu-material-by-opticgard

Are you trying to actually kill flash or just want a protective cover? I like the Onehundredconcepts as well. They snap on firmly and they are not going to fly off. They’re tough so rack away that slide with no worries. Good protection and works to stop reflection. OK, I’m genuinely curious; What’s the reasoning for putting a killflash on an RMR? I understand the reasoning behind killflashes on riflescopes (avoid being spotted by 2 or 4 legged targets, due to the potential flash/reflection if the sun’s angle is just right/wrong), but my RMRs are all on pistols, or the Benelli, and none of those is really going to be used at longer ranges. |

I’ve used the genuine Tenebraex Killflashes on magnified scopes. They disappear in broad daylight, but it’s in the shoulder hours that I noticed they DO affect light input/image brightness. |
