I picked it up for $120 shipped fomr sightmarkonline.com. I was a little iffy at first but I needed a scope foy my LT-104-VFZ test so i got it anyway. I must say its the BRIGHTEST budget scope I have every looked through, the only things I dont like is the MIl-DOT area on the reticle is very small, and there is no parralax turrent, just a small adjustment at the eyepiece. The reticle is also very thin and sharp, even when its illuminated. I'm still not sure if the 6x is good enough for shoting small groups at 100 yards, but we will see. http://a.imageshack.us/img42/3746/p1100969.jpg For my AAR report. Alright this scope is worth every penny, Honestly the image quality is of something I would expect to pay $250+ for. As you can see in the pictures below it was very poor conditions, it was pouring nonstop and the scope, me, and the rifle were dripping wet the entire time. It was relatively "dark" and yet the scope made the target look like it was sunny out, as the scope was still rediculously bright. I didnt geta shot through the scope as I didnt want to get the camera wet. If anyone wants a fixed scope this is worth the $120 shipped i paid at sightmarkonline.com. I was also testing out the new LaRue VFZ mounts. Reticule- I love it as the lines are thinner then any scope i have ever seen. Now I realize this is only a 3 shot group but I consider this very good, because I am used to shooting 100 yards with my 18" rifle with 10-12x scope, this is only 6x. Definetly waterproof: The PA M3 clone held up fine too |
