Good day everyone I impulsively bought the above suppressor because I live in Virginia and I heard about the suppressor ban(which got turned down) but since I have bought it I was wondering what would be the best AR to match this suppressor

Nice can.  Congrats!

For a shorty can like that, I'd be looking to pair it with a 14.5/16" barrel for the best results.  So many options though.  You'd have to narrow down your wish list a little bit.

Uh, any AR? There are a ton of considerations, similar to asking “hey, I just bought a muffler, what car should I put it on?”. In general, a lot of people like longer barrels for shorter cans, and shorter barrels for longer cans, to maintain suppression. We’d need a lot more info to actually help you make an informed decision.

I see, well in all honesty I do not shoot too much but I do want something I can own and not worry about ever replacing it because the assault rifle ban in Virginia seems pretty serious and I want something that can last an entire life time(they say that the ARs I already have will be grandfathered in).

I am prepared to spend at least 2000 dollars for an AR so I hope that is enough to buy a sturdy AR that would be a life long companion in my gun journey.

In that case, just get something solid like a Colt or FN carbine for around a grand.  Then, buy a 2nd one because 2 is 1 and 1 is none.  Especially in your particular situation…

Get an extra barrel while you can, and consider chrome lined since they generally last longer.
