The handguards will fit a middy barrel with minor modification. The pistol grip fits without any mod.

 Attached FileThat's what I did on my middy A2 build too. I used heat shield tape inside mine. Probably not as good as a real heat shield, but better than nothing. I haven't got it really cooking to see though. Maybe I need to do some mag dumps for science, lol. |
