(Now Copperhead Safety!),” which gives customers the impression that Copperhead is the official successor to Cornfire. From what I understand (I am in the know of the happenings), that is not accurate. Cornfire Arsenal is still tied up in an ownership/dissolution dispute, and the dissolution has not been fully completed. There has not been an agreement that Cornfire is becoming Copperhead, and Drew should not be able to unilaterally claim that customer goodwill or present Copperhead as the continuation of Cornfire. His comment about retaining all employees except one owner also seems misleading. A lot of those people were customer service/help contractors and personal friends of Drew, so implying that they all followed him because of something Patrick did feels like an unfair shot at Patrick. I think the cleanest thing would be for the forum title to be changed back or made neutral until everything is finalized. It does not need to take sides. It just should not say or imply that Cornfire Arsenal is now Copperhead Safety when that has not been officially resolved. I hope y'all get your personal business settled behind the scenes. It's not really appropriate for a public forum. For what it's worth, please consider making your selectors full sized, mil spec clones. |

If the details are not appropriate for a public forum, then the thread title should not imply that Cornfire Arsenal is now Copperhead Safety while the matter is still unresolved. The concern is not about airing private business. The concern is that the public title may unintentionally help create a misleading impression for customers who are trying to figure out what happened, who to contact, and who is officially connected to Cornfire Arsenal. A neutral title would avoid taking sides and avoid implying that Copperhead is the official successor until that has actually been confirmed. Since I'm the one that changed the thread title, it will stay until such a time as we have any clue at what is going on. At the very least, we have a he-said, she-said situation from two anonymous users, but in Copperhead's favor, they at least have a functioning website. Cornfire does not. And for what it is worth, making demands and feeling entitled to the market's good will based on this thread is not a good look for a user that has 3 posts, and thus hasn't really interacted or contributed to it. You could be Mr. Corn himself, an ally, or a bot from India. Who the hell knows? But, since you want "neutral", I'll change the "!" to a "?". Question marks for everyone! |

At the request of {Redacted} I will be starting a new thread for Copperhead Safety. Any more discussion about them should be moved over there. New Thread But, as probably the first person on here to buy a MARC from Cornfire Arsenal, and as someone who has directed many family members to buy from Cornfire Arsenal both because of the quality of their products, and the "home town" closeness of their shop, I will not buy anything else from a company related to one of the former owners. Companies do not own conversations about them or their products on a third party website, nor are they entitled to any good will of any kind. |

| I already polluted Mav3rick's thread with this, but I had an interesting turn of events on my MARC this weekend, when it decided not to play nice. Definite bolt bounce. Semi works fine, FRT mode only gives semi, or more likely, a dead trigger with light primer strike. Current host is a PSA lower and DD Mk18 upper. I'm assuming that the Mk18 upper is just too over gassed for it. It is currently running an H3 buffer with Sprinco Red spring, so I'll have to try and find a heavier buffer for it. |

If you're sure it's over gassed, perhaps consider a BRT gas tube? Tackle the issue at the source. As an aside, though I don't think the Sprinco red is hurting, I don't think it's necessary either. Even a blue is probably too much. |

I have a DD MK18 with blue sprinco and H2, and a KAC supressor and it works fine 🤞 One data point, hope it helps |

Disclaimer: I'm not associated with either party, and I know nothing besides what I've pieced together. Could be totally wrong on all of this. My guess is that Corn Gun Works is the half of the company that went with one of the owners, Patrick Corn. I believe that was the side that felt entitled to this thread and wanted it closed when Copperhead Safety got spun up. Copperhead Safety is, I believe, the other half of the Company that went with another owner. Based on their attitude, I know which branch of the old company I'd rather deal with, and that's the side that hasn't threatened legal action over this thread. Suck it, lawyers. |

If anyone is interested There is a sale on Corn Gunworks FRT. I just bought 2 for $129 shipped There was an extra discount for anyone who ordered before and had an account, which I had. Otherwise they are $99 each I believe. https://corngunworks.com/milspec-active-reset-conversion-marc/?ml_recipient=191701658334397729&ml_link=191701628467807678 |

| Got the email they were running the sale. Not terribly interested in supporting them, but figured at that price, why not? Turns out the why not was because they only had the original, non-ambi option available. I'll just order a Mark II from Copperhead whenever I get around to it. |
