| So, expect delays - I heard a gentlemen ordered first week of July and just received this Monday. I have had one on order from August 4th and the only thing I have received is my order confirmation on the 4th. Crickets since then, no updates or anything. Who knows? |

| I just ordered the roller delayed upper from Optics Planet. Now I am reading on different boards that they are months behind in production. Bummer. I was also hoping to get a scorpion mag lower when they come out. I'll just run it on an ar15 lower if I ever get the upper. |

They're going to have three different machine shops making bolts now instead of the one that screwed them over, so hopefully they'll be able to avoid any more issues like this. |

I also ordered one a few days ago, 9k , I have high hopes this is going to be great fun. Have a registered lower and have installed a jmac folder on it and the max-x. Guess i have some time to finish the rest. Luckily I have a .22 upper to mock it up for now. |

Guess i have some time. to finish the rest. LOL, I'm in the same boat. My lower's assembled (went with a Spike's Glock lower and a SI folding brace), I have an optic, just need my upper.

Yeah I have the optic, the rear sight (front is out of stock, using the benefit of lowering the stock to lower the sights as well, so non ar sights. ) and an Osprey 9 that usually sits on a shelf since I have no Pccs yet and I don't leave it on a pistol. It says 8-16 days expected to ship, But we know how optics planet is. I like how the company is launching with spare parts already and the parts list is very simple, In my mind this is the perfect build to resparc my interest in a bland market and I don't want to go through anymore paperwork for anything else. I'll be sure to bookmark this thread. :) |

I also ordered the SD handguards from KM3 solutions. They look neat and should alleviate the only complaint that I have heard of with these things so far, and that is that the front trunnion gets toasty. I can live with a delay of a month or two for the uppers. Fingers crossed. |

The roller delay looks sweet. I've run quite a few rounds through my blowback Mat-9 gen 1. I currently have 3 blowback uppers sitting here. I don't want to get too into the weeds on this, but I'll say my first one failed and Dave replaced it but it took a while due to the aforementioned machine shop issues. 2nd one came in, definitely made by a new supplier. Looked fine, minor revisions in some areas, but the charging handle slot was machined so far out of spec I literally could not get the CH in. Once again Dave took care of it. I can't say enough good things about his level of service and I truly hope he gets back in action with these new machine shops. He deserves to succeed on this. |

I used the KNS adapter on the back but a regular buffer tube would work fine, I like it since i can adjust the height and i plan on running lower sights( since stock is no longer inline with where the buffer tube would be) and its the lightest/simplest,shortest I could find, the upper( matador) is already taller than an ar15 so ar sights, to me, are goofy looking. Since This is a registered lower I'll be using a VFG on such a short upper. Thou that K&m does look interesting. |

I spoke with him a few times on the phone, and I don't hold it against him after hearing him out on it. I wouldn't expect this situation to be the norm. Also based on the shipping address on the label from the out of spec replacement, I'm thinking he asked the new machine shop to send to me directly (I didn't ask but it came from a different state than other orders I've bought from him). anyway, the final replacement for my original failure is here and is functional and I'm super happy. In terms of the original failure we discussed it and I sent pics- he said mine is the 2nd of only 2 examples where the failure occurred and the first was his own T&E unit. I still plan to buy a roller delayed upper eventually, because I like the platform and I want to support this business especially after they stood by the product diligently. |
