ALG QMS  if you can't shoot with this you can't shoot.  Anything more is a waste sans a precision rig.

That's just dumb. I can shoot just fine with a mil-spec trigger. Doesn't mean I want to. Why not choose a trigger you enjoy shooting?

My only issue is that some of the edges on the trigger itself were razor sharp. Nothing a quick pass with a file couldn't fix. The price was right.

Just curious as to why everyone keeps suggesting triggers that have to be assembled when the OP requested a drop-in.

How about something like this.

Or this if you prefer black.

Primary Arms has Timney drop ins on sale for $114. OP, Timney makes good stuff. Triggers aren't a great place to cut costs.

Also, it appears not many people know what a drop in trigger is.

Would the Timney be the best single-stage option in the $150 range?

I've never used one of their AR triggers. They're a leader in triggers. I've used their parts to turn a crap trigger in a bolt gun into a great trigger. That convinced me they know what they're doing with trigger geometry. If I had to  buy a drop in AR trigger today, it's what I'd buy. But I don't use drop in triggers in ARs. I use G2Ses and SSA-Es.

Correct.  best trigger out there...PERIOD.

Larue MBts is a great trigger too. The more you use it, the better it gets.

IDK, the CMC trigger is pretty sweet as well.

There is nothing out there that comes close to a Trigger Tech Diamond adjustable. I've used CMC, Larue, Timney, Geissele, Rise and others. Some come close, but none match the overall performance. They are pricey, but, buy once, cry once. YMMV
