Looking for a new EDC flashlight. Prefer to keep it around $250 on the budget. Bright, and doesn't take up your entire pocket, bonus points for a pocket clip. What do y'all recommend? |

I haven't even received it yet, but just ordered an 18350 modlite PLHv2 handheld for ~$280. I mostly wanted the head for rifle use, but since the whole package was on sale, figured id get it and have flexible applications available... it looks pretty small in the pictures, might be kind of fat however. |

Correction, this was actually $262 delivered from the Modlite website current black Friday sale; even closer to the OPs budget than I originally remembered. |

A Surefire EDC2-DFT Turbo is what I carry, the EDC1 is a little smaller but I like the way the EDC2 gets the head farther down in your pocket, it makes it seem less bulky. I did add a shrouded tailcap on mine. The Surefire bodies are slim and fit nicely in a pocket either way. |
