Link Looks like Tippman has a factory .22 AR with FRT installed. It’s got a proprietary altered bolt system and a modified Rarebreed trigger. $1600. |

If it actually runs, and does so reliably, I would give that for it. I have WAY more than that in a AR22 build that I have absolutely nothing to show for it. It will not run no matter what I do and what trigger I try. It runs perfectly in semi, but in frt it chokes. Problem is, at this point after all I have been through, I will not buy it unless I can get a money back guarantee. If it will not run for me, I can send it back and get my money back. Otherwise I am not going to buy it. |
| I’m thinking about bringing some to market. I have two that I have posted here in the past and assembled another last week and have been testing it. I think I have worked out a pretty failsafe setup if they are cared for properly(cleaning and lubed). Just need to do more testing and evaluation. I ordered enough parts to build four more this week. Probably going to sell them locally to make sure I can help if they have issues. |

I am torn between a bore buddy trigger kicker FRT upper or just trying to build my own with a RTB upper and BB parts. |

I discussed the Tippman with the own of a local Gun Shop (who I trust), he has sold a couple of them and he states they run flawlessly! |

It doesn’t need tuning because the bolt acts more like an ar15 bolt although it has very limited movement but I guess it’s enough to reset. It doesn’t need a trip to reset the trigger like the cmmgs .22 or any of the bufferless PCCs. |

I hacked up a spare carrier a couple years ago trying to get it to run with one of the cassette style FRTs. |
