Does the circled bit look like a crack to yall or just a normal mark in the magwell? I can’t really feel it if I run anything along the surface, really just asking for second opinions.

Picked this lower up today and had the hammer drop a few times while doing function checks on my new lower, I had my thumb over it, but the force surprised me a few times and it hit the bolt catch with a bit of force. Just a newbie trying to make sure I didn’t fuck up my SBR.

Here's your image.

And no, I don't see any cracking and you'd have a whole world of problems if just dropping the hammer damaged your lower.

You're good man. Build away.

Some minor surface wear to the anodizing, but that's good-to-go.

Apparently idk how forums work. But thanks for taking a look, as i mentioned above, it does seem way more like marring in the finish than a crack. Just made me a bit nervous after reading everything about not dropping the hammer once, let alone multiple times. Would hate to have to get another lower and start the form 1 process.

If there was a crack, it would be on the hammer side, not the magazine side.

Well the good news is that it was hitting the bolt catch and not touching the hammer side, so all looks good there. No marring to be seen even close to the circled mark on the magwell
