Most have been posted one time or another. Just finished and its really about the section of the XM645 at the right. These were part of the SPIW (special purpose individual weapon) of Project SALVO in 1957-66. It started with 42 companies bidding against one another and ended up with only 10 submitted proposals.
The second from the left is a XM144 Tracer that burnt the crap out of me. Also, a XM645 with 6.35 copper plated bullet in a clear sabot (say-beau) and a moveable primer to unlock the gun. Its he most complicated of the SPIWs'. These were all designed for against body armor at 150 meters. wolfganggross

I'd be curious as to how or what effect the fins had on the bullet trajectory?
EX: an arrow will somewhat compensate for a cross wind by turning into the wind during flight. |
