Question is simple. What are we saying of Jakyl accuracy in the wild so far? Let's of review videos (infomercials) haven't really brought this up that I have seen. I am hoping for better then x95 accuracy here. |

Thank you for your response. In terms of my "hopes" on accuracy. I just want it to be a 2-3 MOA gun in ideal conditions. I think 3-4 would be a little disappointing for the price point. A 3inch group at 100y using M193 would be amazing. Although some might argue that it won't matter as the Jakyl is advertised as a truck gun. |

Got to shoot it today. I didn’t do great accuracy shooting(running a t2 when I’ve only shot an lpvo for the last ten years), but I got about 3-4 moa with Hornsby 75 frontier. I felt the gun is probably more accurate. And I’m the limiting factor. I did get to shoot out to 377 yards and was pretty consistently able to hit a 2/3 ipsc target. I was really impressed |

Yeah a 2MOA dot on paper means the best you'll get is 2MOA imho. However 3-4 out of a red dot is pretty good. Being able to hit at that distance implies combat accuracy. Which an "X95" is for reference. Not sure how I feel like about that for the price. Other factors like "how durable" this operating system is and how suppressor friendly are now going to come into play. A PWS AR15 upper is gonna cost me the entire price of this gun + 100-400 depending on upper for example. I will get better accuracy out of it as well. But is it "worth it". An quick answer would mean PWS is definitely more proven as a system. Let's not dog the Jakyl anymore. I will get one and play with it for sure. |

Old thread, but... 1) That can be your opinion, but... that's not at all how that works. For an example, an M68 has a 4 MOA dot, which translates (roughly) to 2" at 50m and 1" at 25m. Everyone who has ever zeroed a rifle is a case against this logic. 2) Tavor X95 is below the minimum standard for accuracy in a fighting rifle. Isr*el only gets away with it because they use it to fight sling shot kids, nurses, and flag-waver-guys. It is outperformed by serviceable AK-types with good ammunition. It is also outperformed by the Galil. |
