I've got a ton of tan follower mags and green/black follower mags that were upgraded to MagPul followers years ago. They're not bad, but I'll take PMags and Lancers over the aluminum mags any day of the week. I blame most of my early bad experience with M16s/M4s with using Army issue mags. Only thing I'd say to critique this video is that my experiences were about a year or two behind his in terms of tan follower mags and M855A1 being issued. Didn't see any tan follower mags until we deployed to Iraq in 2011, and I never saw any M855A1, either state side or deployed, until after I ETSed in 2015. We kept on using M855 green tip that was positively ancient in Africa in 2013, and still for training in CONUS in '14-'15. |
