Current truck gun. kinda of an odd duck with the barrel length. barrel was originally cut down to about 13.3” to have a suppressor mounted flush with a RIS II, but the threads were not cut concentric to the bore(found out the hard way), so i found a different use for it. P&W a Kak xm-177 flash hider to it, so the overall barrel length on this is about 17.3” lol. |

This will be my truck gun now that it is set up the way I want it.
Attached File PSA M4 Carbine Lower, PSA premium 10.5" upper, mixture of CMMG with a couple Geissele internal parts thrown in for good measure, KAK Industries original Shockwave Blade brace on a KAK 7075 buffer tube, Colt side sling swivel and a Magpul sling, Olight Odin light on a Kerm-Lock QD mount. If I can find my Surefire G2X Tactical light, I'll replace the Odin with the SF as I prefer the use of CR123 batteries over rechargables for a a truck gun. Mil-Spec carry handle rear sight so no optic to worry about getting knocked out of alignment or battery dying. Nothing overly expensive that I would cry over if the gun was stolen or confiscated. It's stored in a case the right length for the pistol alongside a UW Gear Swamp Fox 4 mag carrier. The truck is inside our garage at night, so no worries about nighttime vehicle break ins. It's specifically a pistol for the legalities of carrying it in a vehicle. I live literally within sight of the Michigan border, have family living in Michigan, and spend a fair amount of recreational time there as well. I can carry a loaded rifle in my vehicles here in Indiana, but it's pretty much verboten in Michigan. HD AR pistol will be shown in a later post. |
