I'm wanting to swap to a urx 4 rail and I think ill mostly be finished messing with it.This runs real well unsuppressed but with the sdn6 on it ,sometimes it can be a little picky depending on the ammo.Ill end up swapping the buffer and or carrier to the jp setup eventually |

I have the JP buffer system and a syrac adjustable GB already, that's how I ran it before I disassembled it. |

| I hate this thread! Makes me want to spend about $20,000 on new creations... Serious though, some awesome builds. I've done 2 Mega builds. Great billet sets with outstanding fit and finish. Changed a rail on one today from gen MI keymod to a 13.6" Hodges m-lok wedgelock. Perfect fit. |

Here's a mock-up of my Mega build, I'll put it together soon. It has a GTR-3S lower with a Geissele NM trigger, a standard Mega upper, a Mega 18" SPR barrel with rifle gas and a Mega 12" Wedge Lock handguard. I would have preferred a 14" M-Lok one, but it was a trade for the previous rail and I got what I could get. I'm topping it with a Weaver Tactical 2-10 FFP scope for now. I'm considering something like a Bushnell Elite LRHS 3-12 if I can find a good price. I always said I'd build a complete Mega rifle if they would make the parts and I did. Also, that barrel will shoot. On my last 2 trips to the range it repeatedly held just under MOA with cheap American Eagle 50 grain varmint. I'm ready to try some heavy match grade ammo now.

Here is/was iteration 3 or 4 or 5: 
I added a Spuhr Scope mount and got rid of the ADM as I was able to drop a half inch from the overall scope height. I had to trim the rail because the scope was crashing into it! YES!!! Now that is the kind of low I needed. After a range trip last week, I found that I needed to also raise the buttpad to a natural position. I liked the ADM bipod mount but didn't like the extra height as it always seemed to work against me. Speaking of which, I need a shorter bipod. Anyhow, I dropped the ADM mount and rail in favor of just a straight up standard sling stud mount...MUCH BETTER. So, with the lower mount and bipod, I have this thing realllly dialed in. Gonna hit the range again next week to verify the set up. Please be done...please be done.

 Decided I wanted to see what I felt about a non adjustable, low magnification, prism optic. I tossed a Burris AR332 on it. I realllly like this carbine, unlike the longer barreled target Mega, this one stabilizes just about every weight I can think of. It even shoots crappy M-80 ball very respectably. Since I like the concept, I am gonna go with a PROPER Prism optic, likely a Steiner T332 |

Some amazing Mega builds here! My lower is done and ready. My only issue is I need to find a Mega 9" M-LOK rail to pair it with. If anyone has an extra one laying around they want to sell or have a lead on one pretty please let me know.. Its all I need to finish my build.

Up from the depths. One of my two USN Z.U.D.U. Mega uppers and lowers. This one is in 6.8 SPC with a Rock River Arms 16" carbine barrel and shares my LaRue TranQuilo suppressor. It has dropped its share of hogs and deer.
