Some years ago I bought one of Rare Breed's early FRT's and installed it into one of my AR's. It performed excellent - the only tricky skill to master was the rearward pressure with my trigger finger. It took me about 45 seconds to get used to it; after that I was good to go. THEN... The Arsehole Transvestite Federation (ATF) started making their noises that they didn't like (1) FRT's and (2) Rare Breed as a company. My problem was that I let it get to me, so I buckled. Sold it for cash and now I just wish I still had it. That's it...rant over. |

For a little bit more you can get a cassette style frt very similar to the Rare Greed. The Partisan It's the best of times for FRT  |

You can upgrade it with a specially modified Geissele trigger in the future for an even more college titty experience. You probably won't be able to choke this out with finger pressure unless you're using chimp strength, they're far less sensitive to finger pressure than the old generation of Rare Breed. |

Do you need that bar thing to run a geissele with the v2? Bar? The lever sticking up and back in the picture? That's the lever that makes the whole thing work, yes. A Geissele requires a "super safety cut," like any other trigger to work with the ARC-Fire. It requires a big chunk taken out of the right side of the trigger shoe tail, and a slight rounding of the left side corner of the tail. |
