It's a work in progress. I'm adding a mini red dot to the carry handle, a Vicker's sling, and a small light to the handguard before it's finished. The whole rifle will get some Krylon, as well.

I'll play. Guess it's not an IDF clone, but it's KISS. It's a CMMG 14.5" midlength on a SUperior Amrs lower I got for $75. Standard CMMG parts kit, CAR stock from model1sales, etc.

The one CAA carries is better. The buckles and webbing are better and the OAL is longer. Also the little quick release extension section on the CAA is twice as long. |

it is a SpecterGear.com SOP/Deployment Package sling w/ the transition buckle. only costs me like 20 to 30 bucks directly from their website. |

honestly brother i do not have a faintest idea??? i haven't really shot it yet w/ the sling there. i just finished it recently and haven't had time to hit the range w/ it. soon as i do though i'll let ya know if it worked or i needed to buy another cause it melted to shit.  what i think i'm gonna do is try to find that Colt side-sling adaptor like the issue wpns have and put it on so i don't have to buy twice. Thnx for looking though fellas, good and safe shooting to you all. |

If you can't get a hold of one of the side sling adapters, take a look at Boonie Packer's line of slings. They sell a couple of models that are designed to withstand the heat from the barrel by making the loop from Kevlar fabric. As seen here They are also very reasonable on their prices. Nice looking blaster! Keep up the good work! |

PK Firearms (one of the advertisers) has genuine Colt side sling adapters for $29.99.
And because this is a picture post here is one of my KISS builds. It's just a cut down gov't barrel on a C7 upper. Barrel was damaged and the upper was dinged up. $100 for the two at the fun show a few years back.

 Doesn't get much more simple:  My favorite KISS carbine:  Old reliable:  This carbine is my Izzy build. XM177clone with the 11.5 replaced with an M4 barrel. Sorry about the small pic.

M1S CAR 1-9 chrome lined barrel upper with Stag bcg , BCM fsb w/ LMT rear buis ,PRI big weenie latch on standard handle,Troy single point on ambi adapter ,with the obligatory 26" storage case (full of field spares,20's and 30's and ammo  )

I'll take A1's over A2's ANY day...The durability factor plus knowing they aren't going to move on their own (which IS known to happen) nor is anyone else going to decide to adjust my elevation for me when handling my rifle.
