Whats the weight of the meprolight m21 in the carry handle mount? Internet is giving mixed results.
Trying to figure out if i want to run an old trijicon rx vs a new m21 on my 6520 Leaning Trijicon because of how light it is, and its dam good looking, but the m21 apparently is much brighter. |

I don’t know the weight but I have the triangle reticle m21 with carry handle mount on my 723 IDF clone. It’s not heavy but I think the m21 is a little bigger than the trijicon reflex sight.

It has a SOCOM barrel stuffed under the handguards but still very handy compared to a fully-ladened M4. Cheers |

I'm thinking about getting one of the cheap Brownells proto rifle length barrels and chopping it for a IDF Menusar carbine clone.
Any advice from someone that's done something similar? |

I think I posted a pic somewhere in this thread. ETA: It's posted on page 81 toward the top. Looks like several members in this thread have had the same idea. |

View Quote I purchased my barrel from AR15sport.com a year or two before Brownells started into the retro game. It is no longer listed on their website unfortunately. It was a 16" pencil with carbine length gas and pinned front sight base. I took it to a gunsmith to have reduced down to 12.5". Doing it today I would definitely grab one of the brownells barrels if available or watch green mountain website. It is my favorite length and very handy. |
