| Installed Cassette and when I did step #11, I did not need to slightly pull back charging handle to enable the rear of the bolt carrier group to clear the out of battery sear. I did the unloaded function check and all checked out. Is this #11 an issue that needs to be further checked before live fire? Thank you for your time. |

It's a tolerance thing and not critical to function. Some upper/lower combinations will be difficult to assemble with the hammer cocked, and you may have to pull the charging handle a bit, or slip something thin into the gap between upper and lower and kick the trip lever forward a bit, to get them to close. Mine closes easily with any upper on it, as long as the hammer is forward and not cocked. |
