| CMMG is a conversion but the Bore Buddy looks interesting - thanks. Kinda torn - I am not left handed. Kid has to show a bit of interest before this becomes a serious consideration. Not sure how he'll want to shoot either - but he's about as left dominant as I am right - extremely so - still lefties do all kinds of stuff mixed. |

| It's not lefty but I did get a lever 22 as it's about as ambi-friendly as it gets. If he gets interested enough to start doing Appleseed shoots with me I'll be getting him something left handed though. I looked into a lefty 10/22 but that's more money than a lefty AR. Yeah - OOB is something that hadn't crossed my mind and a pretty good reason to shoot dominant hand. |

| And it appears this is all for naught and I can save some money at least on guns. Kid is right eye dominant. (And apparently has been hiding vision problems in his left to avoid an optometrist visit - that'll certainly create a cross dominance issue if there wasn't one already.) |

Love the shit out of my lefty 22RF. Like your kid, I’m opposite eye dominant, only it’s my left eye which is good. ALWAYS use your dominant eye as your primary shooting eye. You can’t hit what you can’t see. Even if your vision is 20/20 in the other eye, it will tire quickly. |
