They are more of their smoke color with a tint of FDE. I looked for my one FDE mag to get a photo of next to the new one but I can’t locate it quickly so it will have to wait until the weekend or someone else to post one. Without direct light, they are mostly gray.

I agree, it is closer to smoke than FDE. When they are that close together, I really don't see the point other than just to have something different, and really, there is nothing wrong with that now, is there?

I got mine, was hopeful they would be closer to the original UDE color but they are darker.
Oh well more magazines never caused a problem at this price.

The new translucent color looks darker than LaRue's version, but it could just be the lighting.

I'm a broken record, but it continues to bug me that Lancer doesn't produce matching baseplates for these colored mags. The ones that they do make them for (Purple, FDE, and OD Green) look much better, in my opinion.
