Finally decided to add a little krylon to an old beater rifle. I was nervous as hell at first

I recently found an old PASGT ratchet strap mount and dug out one of my old "K-Pots" just "for fun" to remind myself of how things used to be.

They sucked.

I know for a fact when I first trained with NODs, I did it with a PASGT.  Nearly a decade later, I can't imagine how that could have been.

I finally have an M4. It's a 14.7 with perm A2. I'm going to use it as a truck gun. I bought a Del-Ton kit last week when they had them on sale for $460 and free shipping. Added a $50 Anderson lower and a $40 carry handle from the EE.

Thanks!

Oh man, talk about throw back, both of those have been through several iterations.

The BCM in that picture is my bed side gun

The LMT is the one that I posted above that just got a krylon job.

And here's a couple more M4's. I need to dig them all out and start getting more pictures

Why do I have such a hard time leaving them along? This the rifle from a over that I posted a few days ago.

Added MOE hand guards, MOE+ grip, and PSA enhanced buttstock.

BCM M4A1 upper blem - My 1st 14.5" length & 1st M4 profile upper.
Different furniture colors due to being cobbled together - I really like the new Magpul Grey color.

M4, America's carbine, #Murica'Rbine!!!
#Murica'Rbine came to existence thanks to the LaRue index clips - Red, White, & Blue.

And it shoots great!!

The most I upgraded the suspension of my PASGT was putting the hemorrhoid pad in it, and I thought that was pretty hot shit.

Nowadays I can barely tolerate the standard USGI ACH four point harness, and won't put anything on my head that's not at least got an Ops-Core harness.

Once again, that's a great looking M4, though.

I picked up this Colt LE6920 last week and took it to the range to a couple of days ago to put some rounds through and i am stoked over this rifle.

I previously had a Windham which was a really good rifle while i had it but ive wanted a 6920 for a long time and finally got the funds to buy one. Its used but in great condition. I put the Bushnell TRS25 on it and was only able to sight it in at the 25 yard indoor range but it was still alot of fun to shoot. I cant wait to get it out to the 100 yard range see how it does.

Is it a red dot or does it have magnification I wonder.  I would love to find an optic that kind of does what an acog does without all the cost.  But something smallish that has some magnification.  Even if it's just a 2x or 3x.  And isn't a complete POS.  I like the looks of that thing.

Aervoe earth yellow base.  Two/three coats.
Krylon brown through the mesh.
Aervoe woodland green on top to break it up.

It should wear in nicely.

First post, and it's nothing special compared to a lot of the iron in here, but my first AR build has the M4 profile barrel, so I figured I'd post it here.  Mad props to the Build it Yourself forum, and particularly nsz85's lower build video).

Wonder if that's actually in a combat zone? I don't think a 20 round mag would be my first choice if that's the case.
