Hahahah, now that's funny. What kinda rail is that on stealths PR? Don't look like no RAS...

LaRue.

Pretty sure these are older LaRue rails without the QD sockets. There's other pictures of 10.3" uppers with them too.

Not the norm, but probably a better rail choice? Looks mo' solid.

you don't look into the laser, you look at the wall with the camera.  it's a pretty popular technique before training missions too.

Seriously tho, I have a Colt A1 teardrop I'm about to throw on the block for a Colt selector if anybody is down.

FWIW, don't  freak out if you  can't see the IR with a newer camera phone, most of them have IR filters now to produce better pictures. Apple started using ir filters with the Iphone 4.

I like the WML a lot. I've had the M3X, WMX200, and pretty much every Surefire weapon light in use. I always go back to the WML. It's super light, good ergos, low profile, and it lights up dark places. It's perfect.

Good to know, I heard a lot of mixed things about them a while back, a friend had his batteries drained constantly and said he wasn't happy with CS. I may have to try one though.

The only real downfall of the WML is the polymer strength sucks. The housings crack often, and often on their own without any abuse given. Other than the polymer strength they are a damn good weaponlight. It ain't no surefire tho. That's for sure and it's priced accordingly.

Milspec, do you still have a source for the ras rails? And all of my other sopmod needs? I think I'm getting it pretty bad... Starting to look at enhanced trigger guards as hideous..

That would be a concern of mine with the WML,

Funny thing is, I don't even have a sopmod build yet. Have a few things listed in EE so I'm hoping someone will make a reasonable offer so I can proceed with a couple socom barrels to start.
I would really like to start with complete Colts but I'll have to make the BCMs work for now.

Question, are they LMT charging handles clone appropriate?

" />Well I switched my Aimpoint onto my backup rifle.... And ordered a Ta01NSN for my primary.   I just really miss having a magnified optic on my truck gun.  Plus Acog's just belong on these rifles.    Now I just have to decide if I want to find another N stock for the one on the left or keep the CRT.

Luckily standard issue is just half a hop and a skip away from SOPMOD these days.

I'm not a fan of the top button activation right now on this gun tho. If it was on a RIS II I think I'd like it more, but M4 RAS' be short, yo. tape switch 4 lyfe.

I was think the same thing when you posted yours before. I have an M2 w/ Wilcox mount I had on there that I'll probably end up putting in a mk18mod0 build, but I was going back and forth with which to use on it.

My TA01 NSN arrived today.  I mounted it on my primary rifle and ducked out to the range to zero both my Block 1's.  Extremely impressed with the glass quality.  With the short eye-relief and reasonable field of view I found no problems shooting close in/both eyes open.  I hope to make it out the the farm this weekend to stretch its legs and fine zero. Finally got a chance to get my Colt Block I to the range.  Moved my Acog and KAC BUIS over to it and got everything zeroed.  I'm really liking the SOCOM profile barrel.  I thought the weight would bother me, but I don't really notice it.

Very nice, how hard was it to strip the muddy girl stuff off?  Was it hydro dip?

It was only Magpul MOE furniture dipped in muddy girl, pulled it off and sold it on the EE

Nice setup. Old pic because I haven't taken any new ones lately.

The Block 1 with an ACOG went for a walk in the snow with me today.  The Ta-01 nsn is the way to go in the snow!" />

Removed backup iron sight, I like it more without it; and I am seeing a lot of issued rifles without it anyway.

I truly love this rifle with the 14.5 barrel and the A2 classic flash hider of the right size. What a classic.
