Test fired the upper I built couple weeks ago yesterday. Couple rounds on semi, couple of bursts full auto (Mk18-1 lower, safe, semi, auto) without a suppressor. Then couple semi and auto using the Surefire SOCOM suppressor. 30 rds total then back to teaching the Mk44 Mod 3 7.62mm minigun.

Not pinned, set screws only for "true clone correct."
That being said, many folks pin them for peace of mind, and since they're covered under the rail, no one will likely know unless you tell them - or they take a pen-light to your rifle. ~Augee |
