Pic thread. I bet these Marines don't get hurt feelz like most in the clone threads. Of course, they don't have any airsoft shit in their rifles, so they probably don't belong in here.

Seriously guys, if you aren't better than this, you certainly should be.

This. I don't always agree with stick, but he's right. Some of you guys are wound too fucking tight over petty bullshit. Different strokes and all that jazz. Are you paying for his shit? If not, don't worry about it. There's so many different block II configurations it's ridiculous so do what you please. I can't believe people get mad over the orientation of a sling or the fact that the rifle had a front sight, but not a rear. I knew there was a reason I stopped coming to this thread. Makes me want to cancel my order for a dd m4a1 upper.

Now, if you guys would stop quoting turbineguy, I'd appreciate it. Some of us have him on ignore for a reason.

Not hard to see why. Jesus.

No, the bottom rail is removed and it's mounted on the RIS II 203 hangers.  This was one of the main features of the RIS II to begin with (FF barrel with a 203 mounted).

I'll suck it up and deal with it first.

It would go back and forth between the BII and another all black rifle anyway.

I thought someone in one of the clone threads had spoken with Surefire and they were willing to re-coat suppressors.

Hopefully I'm not just imagining that.

Sometimes they will agree to refinish a new can. They agreed to do one for me after my dealer sent black instead of FDE, but they mentioned that they normally don't offer that for new suppressors.

That's the boat I'm in. Once I get mine, they offered to recoat it, mostly cause I ordered FDE, and Black showed up.

Not much real estate if using a rear sight, not sure if mounting so far forward on the rail is ok

The G33's lever hits the Matech if I go back one more space, I think a different rear sight would allow it all to come back a little more.

Pulled an old M4 stock out of storage and got an ergo grip for $11 shipped courtesy of eBay. Picked up that Arredondo magwell too but overall I have to say I really love this new setup. Also if anyone has a spare su231 they don't want the xps2-0 is officially sold!

That looks good. I might have to paint my upper now.

Just ordered a X300U to put on mine.

DOO it.

Pulled an old M4 stock out of storage and got an ergo grip for $11 shipped courtesy of eBay. Picked up that Arredondo magwell too but overall I have to say I really love this new setup. Also if anyone has a spare su231 they don't want the xps2-0 is officially sold!

Not going to lie, your end picture is exactly how I want my Block II build to turn out. Though for the moment only the furniture is painted, and wanting for the 14.5" from Phase 5 to come in so I can send it off to Adco

Love it. And I like it much better in FDE than black; it does break the lines.

Mine's in coyote, as I like coyote more than FDE. But I like how it sits on yours.

I have been working on this for a while, it is as close to a Block II Clone as you can legally get in New Jersey...

This is an older Bushmaster lower I had laying around, I installed a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic trigger and built a new upper with a PSA 14.7" M4A1 barrel with an Evolution Gunworks A2 style brake pinned and welded.  LMT stock is pinned.  The mag is also blocked to 15rnds (can't wait to get out of this state!)  Working on optics and accessories next.
