From what I'm able to gather, 1st Group and Rangers are using Warcomps. Are they common at all? Is it still in testing or are they starting to be issued?

Just picked 2 Warcomps and looking to throw one on a Block II.

Don't you think the output on the m3x incan is weak? I couldn't stand it and went to a surefire scout.

I have 5 of the incan pistol versions for the 5 FN pistols i own and they are almost useless. The make for a very good indoor use light IMO but outdoors kinda suck.

The most serious thing my rifle does is pull duty as my bedside gun, and the incan bulb is more than enough to light up areas indoors, so I don't mind it

On a real note, after using the Aimpoint T1, going back to the Eotech is... disappointing, lackluster and if I look directly at the reticle it kind of fades compared to if I look through the sides. Seriously considering the Eotech refund.

That's just a forge marking (see http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/411328__ARCHIVED_THREAD____Square_forge_code_on_upper_rec_.html&page=1#i3755276).

Any Colt or FN forged M4 upper is good to go.

Most pics that I've seen where the upper forging marks are visible have the keyhole marking that's why I asked. I'm sure you can use any upper but would the Colt AF forging upper be "clone correct" to the sopmod block II carbine.

Thanks, I don't have the guts to paint mine, plus I like the black receivers mixed in with the FDE, and brown.

Light question, I know they have been seen, but has their been any Surefire X-300s mounted at 12 o'clock on FSP B2s?

I can't recall a pic of a X300 at 12, but I know I've seen a few WMLs mounted that way.

That said, there are some crazy ass light/laser placement setups out there. A X300 at 12 would be a pretty vanilla setup so I'm sure it's been done.

I feel you. I like it as well.

As for the lights I'm not 100% sure. I do believe there have been PEQs mounted there though. I'm assuming you're meaning just past the FSB?

You've already dropped some coin in this clone game, now you mean to tell me having that FAKE front sight isn't going to drive you absolutely crazy? What's another $185? Keep an eye on the EE and you could probably snag one for $170 or less.

Yeah, pony up for the real thing, or run no BUIS, as that's almost as common as having them on.

I'll likely do the X300 or WML at 12 o'clock, depending on which one I can find for a decent deal.
