Been looking at bufferless 9mm uppers and came across this. Simple blowback upper but can't find any info or reviews about it. Never heard of MCS GEARUP so id be pretty hesitant to order it. Anyone know of this or have one? Was going to get a matador upper but seeing mixed reviews lately. Not a lot of options it seems unless you run a buffer.  |

1st.....a link to the product helps. https://mcsgearup.com/5-5-bufferless-9mm-complete-upper-kit/ 2nd....there are a few limitations in the description *AR-15 lowers will require a 9mm magwell adapter to accept 9mm pistol magazines. We recommend using a standard AR-15/AR-9 trigger system, and not binary or FRT triggers. We do not recommend running this upper in full auto. Only compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers *No last round bolt hold open. If you can deal with all those specific requirements....go for it. And without knowing who/where it's made, would also bother me. Personally, I would spend a little more and get a Matador Arms roller delayed upper. It checks more boxes for factory support, uses any mag type, uses 9mm or AR15 std lower, LRBHO, and it's a delayed roller bcg. . |
