Magpuls re good for GP bipods that require can't.  I like them for what they are, but they aren't Atlas or Ckyepods.

I prefer levers over knobs for all my arca clamps. I use RRS, GrayOps,  and ADM arca mounts.

The 45 degree leg thing is way overrated.  I have been competing in PRS for years, and I can only think of once or twice where that came in handy. I still have a few Atlas bipods, and Harris, but I mainly use Ckyepods and Magpuls depending on the use.

The Harris is still a fine field/hunting bipod.  It will be more stable than the magpul, but slightly heavier with tilt, pan, and an Arca clamp. It also has more crap to snag on gear, clothing, bushes, etc.

The Arms 17 mounting option allows you to use almost any attachment method.  As I said earlier, I would avoid tension knows, and concentrate on lever coamps.
