Interesting.
Would be awesome to see them commercially available.

Not sure, sounds like they want you to go through their supply line.
Even if that's the case, it should dramatically cut down the price on 4 prongs. (Assuming it's for commercial sales)

Prices on them are all over the place. I've seen them for sale for $80-$400.

I know, right? I was 2min behind getting one recently. It was like $55 too. I have a b5, but the dimensions are different.

Eta- I’m pretty sure that was the lanco gripstop I barely missed. I remember at least being happy it went to someone that posts in here.

Hahaha, Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank is a Surefire dealer?  Sheeeeeeit, I wonder if my employer has an FFL.  It’s not Warner Bros, but it rhymes with Bony Pitchers.

Man I would love to see regularly priced SF4P's. I need at least 2 more.  Glad I didn't grossly overpay for the one I have.

I got raped for a heavily used one. I'll still probably stick to three prongs for my non clone stuff even if fours become cheap and readily available.

Somehow I missed your EE ad. I must've left su230 off when I searched. That is nice, and I'd love for it to be an actual su230 for the reticle and clone reasons. Very tempting. If only I had a rotational wmx200 to trade.

Lol. Sorry, my stream of consciousness sentence was a little hard to follow. The one you have posted is what I'd ultimately like to end up with. The glass looks really good for being issued. There was a civilian model with a tan doctor the other day, but it sold quick. There's also a 1.5x-6x in 5.56 that looks good. It'd be nice to have the extra magnification, but I don't recall seeing very many cqbr's with the 6x, mostly found on scars.

That would be huge if they released em. I know I could use 1 more.

eta- there has to be someone around here that knows or can find out if this means cheaper 4ps for the masses.

eta#2: not sure what front sling mount to run on my mod0. I'm going for the original navy mk18 mod0. It's between std fsb sling swivel, side sling swivel or cqd sling mount. I can't remember if mod0's ever ran side sling mounts.

I was thinking conservatively. And I wasn't even thinking about rifles other than the cqbr. 2 or 3 would still be plenty for me. Parts have a way of turning into complete rifles.

Nice work! Now how do we go about that? I'm sure there are lots of vendors already jumping at the opportunity. I keep searching it on the web hoping something new will pop up. I have no real idea how long it's gonna take for actual stock to be ready. Any way to get in early I wonder?

One can hope, but it's been hard to get 3-prongs for months. Once the 4-prongs hit, they will probably all get bought up ricky-tic-tic.

Most SF muzzle devices (SFCT, SFMB, warcomp's, etc) seem to be on a 6+ month backorder with more surefire dealers.

I hope SF has pent up inventory on the 4 prongers and they flood the market so I can grab a few.

@weaponoutfitters

pls order 4 prongs for us

And then promptly resold for the $300 people have been paying. I don't think they'll be easy to get for a while.

I'm not one to assume (because we all know what that does).  So when ordering a Surefire socom rc2, Will I need to purchase a muzzle device as well or does it come with one?  Majority of my suppressors did not, but I did have a AAC come with a muzzle attachment device once.

Unless you have a super cool dealer, muzzle devices are separate purchases and not included with SF suppressors.

Hell they should, not sure why they don't.  I mean, just charge more to cover the cost of the 4p.  If someone buys a can and doesn't want the 4p, they can buy another muzzle device and sale the 4p.  It's a win, win, win.

Thank you. That would make sense. I thought I could see bungee in one of the pics. I had no idea they were running them single point, until I studied the pic to see what sort of front sling mount they were using.  I'm trying to find that other vbss pic where their mod0's have m962s mounted. I want to see if they have the same slings.

$25 over list for ordering, and then separating and packaging all the flash hiders into individual orders, and mailing them all out isn’t something I’m going to worry about. That also includes the cost of shipping.

I wasn’t even going to buy a 4p until I saw this. I managed to find a new NSN marked 3p locally a few weeks ago for less than what they used to sell for new.
