Have a few questions for you guys when assembling the parts.
Do you: Lapp the upper before installing the barrel or not necessary? Use Rocksett on the SF4P or not necessary for suppressor use? Use blue loctite on the KAC Taupe front sights and KAC rear sights or not necessary? Use blue loctite on the mounting screws for the RIS II or not necessary? Use loctite on ambi safety selectors? Use loctite on Gas block screws? Thanks |

Scored a few things from the EE that will help me finish a couple builds.
- Finally found a larue lt139/ spr-e for my eod build. - gen 1 hogue grip (RRA marked) for devgru build - Kac vfg for devgru build - early nsn marked ta01 for devgru build - surefire m600c possibly for devgru. Wanted m600a, but this will be a sufficient stand in |

I'm all for mlok, slightly longer barrels and magnification for shtf guns, but there's no reason a cqbr can't fill the role of a shorter gun. You can always dedicate it to a night gun or hd gun. I don't think you gain anything moving to urgi in the shorter length.

For you guys with the Colt FA Ambi safety selector.
Did you remove (Grind down) the metal piece in the middle of the selector to turn it into Semi only OR did you leave it as is and allow it to rotate all the way? Thanks |

I liked them both except my mk 4 was before mlok was a thing and I didn't like how far out the 6oclock picatinny was. It was great for the bipod, but that left me without a place to mount a grip. (Not that one is needed.) The look of the original mk4's were pretty cool too. They had the gumdrop shape vent holes in the bottom.
