What spring are you guys using on your mk18s with correct mil spec gas ports?
I'm planning on using an h2 buffer. From previous posts the military uses the h2 buffer and standard spring. Should I stick with the standard, or go with something like a sprinco blue, Damage Industries enhanced spring, or wolff extra power? |

So a follow up to my prev post.
I have the Larue rail in transit so here’s the next debate - LMT fixed sight / Wilcox mount / Aimpoint comp. or Matech/KAC sight / Eotech; and if Eotech XPS or 552. (I’m not spending 553 money!) I mean, I really liked having the traditional MK18 but some of these early CQBs are really catching my eye. In the past, I had a both set ups at one time or another. I like both so that’s the issue. The Eotech seemed quicker and less bulky it that Aimpoint combo looks great and has killer battery. Ugggg….. decisions |

My flash hiders from Euro Optics that have been on backorder for a year finally shipped today.

I vote for the latter of the two.
I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one pic ITW of a Larue'd 7thSFG CQBR with that setup. The classic CQBR has great aesthetic appeal, but that rear iron in the FOV just doesn't do it for me. Pieces are starting to come together.
Attached File Attached File This is starting to look like it's going to end up being my most expensive build. I have a surfire m600 on a different rifle, I'm planning on moving over to this one. I have to still get the stock, front sling mount and flash hider. (And suppressor) I have to decide on a sling and if I want to go with a cqd or DD end plate or just use the standard. Also if I want a VFG, afg2 or nothing. Opinions on those things would be great. |

Would shooting unsuppressed cause issues with the light? |

Some pistol light configurations put them in the same position which leads to a dirty lens at worst.
