Do we know if the AF is throwing those RIII's on 10.5's because they have the same barrel nut as the RIS II, or are these new 11.5" uppers?

Anybody know how far apart the set screw holes are on a Badger gas block?

How does the NT4 sound? I've never heard one in person.

Can't never could 'til try came along.

Finally got around to putting the 4 prong on. Now I need to decide if I'm going to pick up a can. I forgot to pay attention to where I had the T2 mounted so I'll have to take it out and shoot it a bit again to figure out where I want it. I've got a 150 yd range behind the cabin and can ring the silhouette with ease. Fun and handy little rifle.
I didnt take the cloning quite as far as most with correct lower/uppers, but it's close enough for my desires. Attached File |

It doesn't have as sharp of a "bite" as some other 5.56 cans I've shot. I do always ear pro when shooting centerfire rifle so take that into account. |

This is only based on one post I have read, but I also use a Badger Ordnance since they are within spec. Also because I have not been able to get a Coronet Surplus gas block yet. |

The only difference you can distinguish between them is in the machining marks. The set screws that the badger comes with are also far too long. |

I have not ran into a coronet since last year for sale, you got any sources or good places to keep an eye on?

There are several cage codes that show up under the NSN. 9K646-Coronet 3E3E2-Daniel Defense 12255-Crane Coronet comes individually packaged and cage coded. Once we had some packs of 5/10 in a foil/wax paper wrapping, not marked. So, don't know the manufacture. |

View Quote CD, do you recall if the DD MK12 Gas Block you received under the NSN had the DD logo engraved or is it slick? I was checking the DD website, and they have the "DD" engraved. I am trying to get as close as possible to a MILSPEC upper. reference link: https://www.westernsport.com/product/daniel-defense-mk12-low-profile-gas-block-set-screw/ |
