As far as which suppressor Army SOF uses boils down to which is in the team room and what flash hinder is on the gun. I'm still changing out QDSS for FMSBC out here in the field. Range day today for 3 I swapped earlier this week.

Good work. Putting an ELCAN on a CQBR be like http://www.j4laughs.com/art/1/4.jpeg I'm putting an Elcan on my CQBR. I just can't win with you people. Elcan on CQBR is the greatest combo I have ever used. The only draw back is the BDC will be about 20-60 yards short on the holds from 200-600. I have used all sorts of optics on my CQBR and the Elcan is the best without a doubt. Was out yesterday hitting a 7x10 plate at 400 on 4x using just the magazine as a monopod and running sub 3 sec 2-2-4-2-2 drills on 1x. Your going to be stoked on the Elcan! I have been using mine for about 3 years on my old Block 2 M4 and now on the CQBR! Don't sweat the haters Pic thread: |

I love the Elcan for what it is and currently have one on my MK18.
When I remove the Elcan the MK18 feels light and nimble like a super model. When the Elcan is back atop my MK18 it is like a fat Jessica Simpson- still doable, but heavy. |

Anyone have a cqbr with everything painted(minus the rail) EXCEPT for the lower receiver?
I just realized I'm using an A1 lower for my CQBR which is painted, but I'd rather use that lower for a retro build...and plan to just use another sbr'd lower which is not painted. I'm wondering what it would look like before I start changing parts out...just being lazy ETA-very nice boneisland! |

It looked badass on his weapon, not aware of any pics of a CQBR with the paint you described tho Edit nevermind bro I'm mistaken. It was the upper receiver and rail, not the lower. It still looked good tho if it helps |

Correct. MARSOC chose to remain with the KAC QDSS NT4 despite being a contributing member of SOCOM. It's not because of money or the fact the regular FMF being perceived to be the poor folks around the DOD. We chose to continue their use against other "competitors" in Det1 before MARSOC was born. Pat Rogers might fill you in with more details. I've already commented on this a few months ago, however, I can't remember which thread it was in.
That being said, my SOCOM-RCs from SS were received today. Approved on 7 Jan. Mailed to ATF on 29 Sept. We'll see how they shoot. |

I got one left to give, who's next? Thanks for the gift, not sure what I'll do with my avatar, but I'm honored. This conversation prompted me to get a membership. Now, where do I send my DD214 for my tank? Follow the instructions here. Welcome, fellow Arizonan. |
