The Colt barrel still didn't get a good grouping with the left over Hornady ammo I had. My HK416 clone seemed to get better results but even it had fliers.

That was the first full rifle I had painted. I'm pretty happy with the results even though I couldn't quite find the perfect color of the lighter digital pattern. Base color seem to be exact - Aervoe urban tan. I was actually more hesitant about painting the suppressor but most of the original paint burned off making it an easier choice.

The trained raptors and the whole tag team fight thing at the end was gayer than two dudes 69ing each other. I felt violated walking out of the theater.

A raptor can afford bridged 14's but I can't even afford 1!

Stealth- true the whole concept of the tag team shit was kinda lame. They couldve made the end better. But that red head doe.

I wanted to get a photo of my two ARs + the short upper I've been toying around with, (A family photo, of sorts) so I figured I'd post an updated photo of the mk18; went back to the scout light/KAC grip combo.

I have been rediscovering the joy of Mcnetts camo wrap. The 14.5" has had it for a while, but I decided to give the KAC a wrap and see how it felt, I've been wanting a thicker profile like a Tangodown grip, but I just can't make myself pay $50+ for something I can accomplish for free.

Why have you posted so few personal rig pics in here? Your setup is badass. Love that paint. Probably my favorite rattle can job to date.

I really think I need to add some green to my rattle canned CQBR. I may live in the desert, but my rig sees a good amount of time up north in the pines as well.

Fully exposed FSBs are meh...so your Mk18 was conveniently forgotten on my end.

Your CQBR, 416, and shorty SCAR are shit hot though. Truly the nicest SBR trio I've seen. I feel inadequate.

I can't keep up with you guys.

Seriously, my CQBR has not changed much in literally over 800 pages.

Page 12

Rear sight got put on the MRE rifle.

Front sight took a dive for the LaserMax.

The Surefire X300 and Unity EXO I briefly tried out went back to the more conventional M3X and remote switch.

Also... apparently, my optic inexplicably got bumped up one notch... not sure how or when or why that happened... weird...

Dat rear sight...I want one...

Will be the last time this CQBR sees its current AAC Mini 4:

Heading to my dealer tomorrow to finally get the F4 submitted for what will soonish become a dedicated taupe NT4 for this rig. I continue to have shitty luck with F3s...this one took over two months.

Am already gonna toss an NT4 flash hider on this rig, and move the Mini 4 to my "M4A1 Block III." I'll post pics of my "Block III" in the BCM pic thread soon...it's pretty badass, and my current favorite rifle to shoot.

They are only $30, come with the port drilled to .043 and then you open it up to whatever size you want or we do it for you for an additional $10.
This is the ideal solution for those that don't want to go adjustable and want that .070" milspec port size.

This picture shows that the port is countersunk to allow for some misalignment.

Excellent job love the paint as well. I am having as harder time finding the 512 and 3x magnifier then I am the RAHR.

P.S. Is that an S&S Precision light mount as well?

That is a sexy bitch indeed. Although I would probably sharpie over the DD receiver markings.

I know they are killing me. I used to have a straight all Colt upper :(. This is a DD complete upper with a NT-4.

I fuckin dig it, even with the DD receiver. And NT4 is just icing on the cake for me.

I for the life of me can not understand why DD gayed up their rifles with those huge ass laser engravings. No one really likes them. The old ones were so much better.

Yes its an S&S low profile mount. You have to grind down the tangodown grip in order to mount it near the mount as the scout's base will contact it. Thats why you'll see the magpul grips used on the RAHG's because they clear without issue. Speaking of the RAHG eurooptic gets small batches of them in from time to time. As for the Eotech watch the EE here. You'll want the 551 and not the 511 as the 511 did not have the NV setting button and many of the 511's had a different hood with a teardrop shape opening for the elevation adjuster. The 3x is getting harder to find since you'll want the early version that used the ARMS lever to release and did not flip to side. I found mine on the EE here.

CQBR related: eurooptic has WMX200's listed for backorder on their site

Seems like a bad spot for a PEQ

ETA: And why would HRT need map? I mean...maps are good...but they are Hostage Rescue Team, not Long Range Recon

Is that even real?

What good is IR equipment (PEQ, chem lights), without NV on your person?

Also, paint isn't scratched on the ejection port door or brass deflector

I want to say that's airsoft. The buttstock reminds me of these with the rubber pad removed and the frame around the mag release area looks identical too. Just speculating could be wrong.

Do you have actual access to this? Any way you could take a mic to the font? My engraver wants to know what size we're working with...

I wouldn't have any idea, I'm bad at spotting that sort of thing.  I'll find out where he got the picture.

$125 including all magwell marking and my custom serial number, colt's info about the pins, SSA markings on both sides, and my trust info under the trigger area so it's not readily visible from a side view.
I thought that was very fair.
No idea what Ident charges, do you?

I have been rediscovering the joy of Mcnetts camo wrap. The 14.5" has had it for a while, but I decided to give the KAC a wrap and see how it felt, I've been wanting a thicker profile like a Tangodown grip, but I just can't make myself pay $50+ for something I can accomplish for free.

The lower one is my favorite.  Out of all of them...... The paint, the M4 stock, FSB, yeah I totally dig that one.  You've got the best one.  Well, for me it's actually second to that one guy that is kneeling down with the red beard somewhere over in some desert with just irons and I think the laser thingy.  I like that one the best, and yours second.  Not that it means anything.  I'm just saying.

I do like how simple Augee's is too.  That one is 3rd.  So there you have it.  The heirarchy of Mk18's / CQBR's from the Gospel of JJ.   There are a ton of sweet guns in there though and I'm probably forgetting some.
