Approved.

It's pretty damn beat up too, ultra clone correct.

Can I get a quick class?  Dafuq is a PWA lower?
I was really wanting to get into paintball again and a Marine in my squad bought me an Angel One paintball gun for $900 and I traded the rifle above for the paintball gun. The next week, the paintball gun went on clearance for $500...

That trade still grinds my gears. Can't hardly find a PWA lower (which I got for cheap in 2006). The Reflex was NIB which I stole for $200

The lower had a DPMS parks kit I got for cheap and would occasionally have a malfunction causing it to shoot auto. The diconnector was not made properly. Swapped it out the the occasional automatic firing went away.

PWA lower on EE, pricey.

Got a couple DD 10.3 barrels. Didnt realize one was a LW profile Are there any good pinned .625 GB out there? I dont want the lame clamp on one.

Looks like they dont make the LW anymore, is there a demand for these on the secondary market?

Edit: Thanks Mil.

No demand in here. What you'll want to do is find a low pro gas block in .625 and send it to ADCO to get the gas block pinned. Barrels and gas blocks are drilled/pinned as a matched pair.

Anyone here know of a source for M4A1 RIS II's in FDE with no FSP?

Want to duplicate this...  Maybe stop being a pussy and get an ELCAN. Bad timing though.

The EE. FDE RIS II's in any length very, very rarely come up for sale from distributors. Get with the program bro, you've been here for a while.

That Noveske run was the only run I've ever seen since I started cloning mil rifles. The one and only unfortunately. The EE is by far your best bet, or some LGS that has one buried under odds and ends, still unlikely.

I thought I knew that an M4A1 rail would be for a 14.5 inch barrel, but looking at the carbine Matt wants to clone I see a 10"+ barrel.........or so I thought.    TNW, so you want to clone that carbine, but NOT as an SBR?

well........I bought 3 of the M4A1 rails from Brownells a month or so ago.   I didn't know what I was going to do with the other 2, after one was turned into a MK18 FSP RIS II.  Maybe I'll have to try my hand at a GL/SSC, and perhaps just use one as it is.
After chop chopping a couple, I now have a few pieces that I can practice Tig'in on.  Need to get amperage/tungsten/filler rod down pat.
Is the GL/SSC a FSP rail?

I've always wondered what a carbon steel/stainless oriented tungsten does to aluminum. Sounds like you get to find out for me. 2 percent thoriated please good sir, and I'll send you a pure (green) for collateral damage.

So due to the AU problems, I fear I won't be able to get an RC, I wonder if it would be better to cancel and buy a PEQ-15C, or RC2. I'd rather have the right can if possible, and it's near impossible to get an LA-5.

Well, the SF4P is a good flash hider. (Thinking about you firing under NODs without a can) so I don't see any reason not to get the ATPIAL-C first. And i'd rather have an RC2 than no can....

I'd track down an RC on a F3 if you have to.

Or buy the C when TNVC gets the new batch in. Those will sell fast.

Why thank you, Sir.

I am forced to live here in California (work). Ain't no other way for me.

I was born in Texas and raised in Italy; my dream has been (for decades, I'm 47) to have something like that.

Then finally, I move back to the US of A (for work, I work with music band AC/DC and other artists) and find out that California is a no-no with SBRs, Silencers etc.

All I can do to get my beloved US special forces (looking) rifles is go AR15 pistol.

Respectfully yours,

SD

The short answer is yes.  I can lay the light against the switch and it still allows room for my fingers to fit under the light and comfortably on the switch.

I read that in an aggrivated tone.

Alright, enough bullspittin' I'm off to the gym. Try not to rip eachothers heads off while I'm out.

27 here as well. Tell you what, I already feel old. I can't imagine what I'll feel like when I'm 47, or 67, assuming I make it that far.

You feel great, actually. Especially if you make it there with at least a little money, some security and a nice family.

You feel better than ever; you finally appreciate many aspects of life. But for me this was entirely possible only here in the US of A; any other country I lived in (Europe) sucked balls.

67 can't say; not even sure I'll make it that far. But 47 feels great.
