Happy CQBR Valentine's Day! *romantic violin music plays*
So, I went out Sunday and put some lead in the air. Well, technically, I mostly put some bi-metal in the air, but we shant quibble over details. My bi-metal bullets identify as lead! Don't judge them! Some rascals had posted up at my longer range spot, so I moseyed back to my "summer" spot that's about 50y max.  
Still don't have any matching tactical towels, but at least they're generally a shade of green :\. 
I grabbed one of the Brownells Retro A1 style grips just give it a try and slapped it on the CQBR. Kinda like. 
Of course, I stopped on the way out to take a few scenery pics as the sun was setting for you heathens.

Swapping out the DD upper for Colt, and black rail for FDE. Barrel with 4p is going on M4a1. Getting closer to something resembling an actual "clone", lol.

Well, guess my Mk 18/CQBR journey has begun. Just bought one of the AU Socom RCs in FDE.
I don't even have any other Block II parts
I do have a good many for the Block I, so I'll probably throw the RC on that until I can pony up for an NT4. |

Question. As far as UID labels go, they would be clone correct for a CQBR but not a mk18 mod 0 right? New at the cloning game but I have most of everything else figured out. I have seen pictures of "mod 0's" with UID's but figured they were referring to a block 1 or 1.5. Hoping someone can help clear the air on this.

Either way, it should technically fit, but it isn't.
