Quick question.  I boresighted my rifle and took some shots with it yesterday, and when I shot it, I don't know if it was shitty ammo my father gave me to test fire it, or if it was the design or something, but I took some powder to the face. Iam I right handed left eye dominant. Lefty on rifles, righty on handguns.  I'm all fucked up. But it's how I do things.  Ar in the left and m&p in the right. Rambo.  Just kidding...

Anyway, does this happen to the other fellow lefties here using this kit in a right sided, ejection ported, upper?
I have yet tested my golden bullet, mini mag, thunder bolt, m55, viper,  yellow jacket, stinger stash..I like to collect, I don't call it hoarding...

It's still in pistol configuration. That is not a shoulder stock.

This .22lr AR started out as a plain CMMG Quebec model .22lr AR with a railed gas block and flat top receiver. It did not have any sights, it had standard carbine handguards with single heat shields and standard GI type collapsible stock. I don't like to use MAGPUL stuff on my 5.56mm AR's but decided I would 'dress up' this .22lr in some MAGPUL stuff. The MAGPUL items added were:

1. MOE handguard
2. MOE trigger guard
3. MOE grip
4. MOE Mil-Spec Carbine collapsible buttstock

So, here is the end result:

I put Midwest Industries folding front and rear sights on the rifle. In order for the gas block height folding front sight to fold, I used a dremel tool and cut spaces out in the top of the MAGPUL handguard for the sight post and sight wings to fold into.

Also added was a Bushnell AR red dot sight.

The definition of a SBR is a rifle(meaning it has a stock) with a barrel of less than 16" or OAL less than 26". So the answer to your question is Yes. Otherwise, it would just be a rifle...

I have the CMMG 22 AR Kit, but I never used it. I have wanted a .22 AR For a long time, but I wanted to be different. I went the Sig route. Bought it as a pistol, then threw it in the safe until the form1 came back. Basically A Sig 522 Pistol (10" Barrel") With a 552 Style MFIAP three prong flash hider. A Sig Swiss folding stock. A LaRue LT152 Low aimpoint mount for my Comp M2 and a DD VFG. Sometimes I swap on my SWR Warlock II. But I would have to say it has the perfect balance with the 10" barrel.

With Swiss Flash Hider
