Regular Agents get the same 11.5” Colt carbine as the SWAT Agents but with. Black G rail instead of the ODG and in semi auto only. The regular Agents carbines have Troy sights, the inforce 400 lumen WML Magpul CTR stocks, Viking Tactics slings with QDs and the option for. weird Israeli / MAKO defense knock off of the Magpul AFG. The only other option the agent has is whether they want their WML at 9, 12, or 3 o’clock. Optics are eithe the H2 on a DD Mount or a Romeo 4M - you get what you get. There is an option for a personal purchase 16” 6920 with an old school 11”Troy alpha rail. The authorized optics and accessories for the personal purchase carbines are the same as the issued 11.5” Regional SWAT has more latitude with some things like lights, slings, sticks etc in most places but it will vary office to office. Normally bolt on type stuff. Each office has a Primary Firearms guy and a SWAT lead who have input on that. So office A may let guys swap out slings, lights etc while office B has a leader who came from a “You see one spartan, you see them all” back ground in the military. The ODG SWAT guns are full auto lowers though some have semi auto Geissele triggers. All the guns are built (or re-built) in batches so may come with A2, hogue or Ergo Pistol grips. It depends on what is on hand when they are built. |

Thinking about throwing one on mine. Am I crazy? |

So I’ve got a 2011 vintage RRA carbine with a heavy-ass 16” carbine barrel. I’ve been wanting to overhaul it and modernize it, and in parallel I’ve got this FBI build on the docket. Would that be an appropriate base rifle for this build?
I’m thinking turn down the barrel and chop it, swap the stock to a sopmod and I’m functionally there. Only thing that would be off is the commercials RRA rollmarks. I am trying to be clone correct on this one, as my last two clone attempts went off the rails, so if this would be too far off base I can still build it from scratch. |

I’m trying to modify the long rounded side panels now. As you may already know, their a little too long and won’t clip in due to the mounting block of the MK4... so I’m taking a little off at a time... if I end up keeping my second HRT Upper it’ll be rocking those long panels and a URX Rail section with a KAC Broomstick |
