That’s exactly what I wanted to hear, and exactly what my wallet did NOT want hear. The URG-I package is just too sweet of a deal to pass up.

Seems like there was some other minor marking difference that differentiated them from commercial RCs. It wasn't just the NSN, cause my commercial RC from AU is NSN marked. It's been a while since I watched the live stream and I don't really want to dig through it to confirm, but that's my recollection. Maybe I am imagining things :\.

Edit: Might be a UID engraving I was thinking of.

The SIG 1-6's are LOW (Japan) made, aren't they?

If they end up doing final assembly CONUS with LOW parts, it will just be the same thing NF does with the ATACR

Or mod sushi and mod sushi, to use your analogy.

According to my sources, Sig went to the same places that Vortex is getting their Razor Gen II parts from and used them in the contract Tango 6's.  The resulting package is said to have the same optics and everything Razor customers love, but in a lighter and more affordable package with a number of features that the users wanted.

With the Airborne Charging Handle, does anyone else feel it binding when racking the charging handle from right side, if shooting from left hand? I changed it out for a Radian Raptor and so far no issues.

I'm asking specifically in here because I didn't have problems with other ACHs in other guns.

I've got DDC ACH's in two rifles now... both have a ton of wear on the sides that my black SCH's don't have. Right or left handed, both felt like they had a little bit of binding but that went away with use.

Well I know what I'm looking at tonight!

Can't speak to the dudes, but definitely has a product advertising vibe to the photos. Great shots, nonetheless, but I'd be it's a Surefire paid shoot judging by the background and the other photos in that flickr.

Can't wait to look through some more of these, definitely giving me some big time photography goals.

Evaluation uppers are still out there with USASOC and AFSOC. The gas block is the G low profile block found on the near clone and they have the Surefire 4-prong. The 4-prong is standard unless a unit or individual swaps them out.

Very good news on the gas block choice. Hopefully that's not just a T&E choice and filters into the issued parts as well
