Been seeing a LOT about smaller manufacturers maybe having to shutter (at least temporarily) because all the talk about HPA has people waiting to buy.  If true, that could mean a decrease in backlog but who knows.  I resigned myself to waiting a year for it; if HPA by some miracle actually goes through ahead of stuff that (let's face it) is far more important, then just icing on the cake I suppose.

M144 spotter, my best guess. The objective seems to blend in to the tube, it's a  little bit more pronounced on the US Optics.

I'm with you.  A set of no-lever stop ARMS 22H rings is the last thing I need for my Mk12 Mod 1, but I'm not at the point of paying 40% over new models.

They don't pop up too often, hence the price. There were several sets that sold on ebay october of last year for $200-250 each. Several have sold on ebay for over $200 since. A set also sold on the facebook page for $250 about 6 weeks ago. I understand people who don't want to pay the price, but not people who say it's too much. Once in a blue moon someone will post them for cheap just because they don't know what they have, and that's what everyone bases their worth from. That'a not something you can count on happening though. If you want a set of NLS rings, you could always get someone to mill them off for you, but that'll raise the price you have in the rings a good bit, and they STILL won't be an original set. I really want to avoid price bashing with this sale, so lets be chill. I have them listed at the price I feel is the market value. If you have an offer take it to pm but lets be civil.

I don't see anyone being uncivil, just pointing out the obvious, their prices high.  You can say that's market value but I saw a few pairs go for under $200 last year and they knew what they had.  I understand supply and demand and I'm sure you will get your asking price but if your going to advertise in the MK12 thread (which isn't the appropriate place to do that) you can't get upset when people speak their mind.  Especially when it's obvious that the only reason your posting here is to sell your product and not add much else

I caught a lot of hate on the facebook group and that's what I was referring to when speaking about people not being civil. Its supply and demand just like the RIS rails. I'm not upset, I just wanted to explain the reasoning for my pricing.

Cloning used to be expensive but it was a brotherhood of guys that would help eachother find parts.  Now people flipping parts has made hard parts impossible to get and has turned cloning into a status type thing so I wouldn't expect a lot of love here either.

I'm not flipping anything. I paid $275 for a set of NIB arms rings in December. Yesterday I got a TS20A2 that had these rings on them so I'm selling them for a little bit less than I paid for my other rings due to their condition.

I'm not trying to criticize or steer people away from buying your rings (and it looks like someone purchased them already).  You are absolutely right that no-lever stop rings have been selling for well over $200 on Ebay and some other places over the past few months.  If someone is willing to spend that much, good for them.  The price should be set by a free market.

I just commented that I am not yet willing to pay 40% more for a no-lever stop set than a set of new production rings.  Maybe some day I'll pay that much.  But I'm not that desperate yet.

When I saw those today I couldn't believe it. Figured someone would pay it, just knew it wouldn't be me. Hoping it wasn't someone in here selling them. The clone guys use to help each other out finding parts and giving heads up to guys looking for specific stuff, those days are dead, gone, buried, and never to be again.
For the price you listed, I'd buy a set of off the shelf lever stops, a dremel tool from amazon and still come out a fair bit ahead and have a tool out of the deal. And no one would know they aren't actual nls so that point is mute.

Just pointing out the obvious here so don't get butt hurt.

I see stuff on eBay for stupid prices, like a non nav spec marked NF 2.5-10x24 for $2600. Does that mean it's "market value"? Or a ts30a2 nib for $1850. Market value or just someone trying to make money?

And it's kind of a faux pas to post in here something YOUR selling.

There's been multiple sets sell for this price, but the items you listed aren't going to sell. That's the difference there.

Anyways the rings are sold pending funds so lets move on :)

Wonder why the clone guys in both groups are flipping you shit. Because it's ridiculous and greedy. They and myself are calling it like it is.

Your perpetuating the cycle by asking a ridiculous price, now someone that see that thinks their rings are just as valuable. Over inflated market value does everyone a disservice.

Wasn't going to post until it was all dry and back together, but seems we are in needs of pics at the moment more than usual ;).

So, Green is out.  Just never really warmed up to it, so back to Sand/Earth Brown.  It actually had 3 or 4 layers or paint, so figured I would strip it down.  Of course, I couldn't find my go to (Tal-Strip) anywhere - it must be on the no fly list. :(.   Settled on Citri-Strip.  It worked OK, but required several applications and cleanings to get the majority of the paint gone.  It actually looked pretty decent all black again to be honest, but went ahead and broke out the Slip 2000 degreaser and Aervoe and went to town.  Since I hadn't painted the scope/rings, bipid, etc green yet they didn't need repainting :).

Also the jury's still out on the twine wrap for the can - tends to untwist around when twisting the can, so my just paint the can and be done with it.

Jesus Christ.  Things are worth exactly what someone will pay for them, nothing more noting less.  There is noting greedy about asking for a certain price, you don't have to buy it, no one does.  It's how a free market works.

You can say that....but I see wmx's that were sold for 1K, rails that are going sky high, mil spec lasers that are going for 2k and I can keep going. When they don't make them anymore and shits rare...it's rare. The next set of rings you see will probably be 300.00 since these sold in like what...20 to 30 min?

I have to say with regards to the MK12 mod 0, Mod 1 and Holland, for the most part, a lot of the parts used have not been exclusive to the platform. Obviously Precision Reflex's decision to continue to manufacture the Gen 3 forearms and rails and to introduce the line of retro parts has only benefitted us.
If Nightforce had not decided to do the odd run of the 2.5-10x24, that's scopes price would have only soared. Leupold's decision to no longer offer the Mark 4 line of scopes to civilians in my mind is stupid, but it appears that the asking price for the 112633 has started to climb, several retailers are already sold out of existing stock, will the availability of this particular optic dry up, actually I don't think so, but the price may climb a bit.
Even though it appears the KAC is continuing to manufacture the 21318 rail, availability is spotty and they seem to command a premium price over the normal $350. Daniel Defense didn't want to sell the MK18 rail because folks were cloning. What price would new in the wrapper ARMS #38 SPR Peq 2-3's make?  or a PRI gen 1 handguard
With regards the item in question, rings are rings, ARMS made a lot of them, patience is a virtue, the seller can ask whatever he wants for them, their his to sell, I try not to knock something someone is selling unless its fake.

It's a mostly stock 16" KAC SR-15 "legacy". It's my favorite rifle and the last one I'd sell for sure.

Here is a picture of the rifle the scope usually sits on, with some Mod-H in the background.

Supply vs. demand and what the market will bear.

If they don't sell at the asking price, perhaps the price will come down.
