| I haven't found and extra size pins for an Old Colt with .170 pins. Anyone out there make the pins out of 17-4 that are over sized? I have pin guages I could use to measure accurately if someone could make them at a reasonable cost. Or is it just better to buy a cassette trigger? |

They don't sell as well as they did, but they're still available. I'm not sure there were many places to get them from 17-4, even back when Colt was being actively anti-social. Hmmm... sounds like an interesting little lathe project... | I have K & N .170 pins in it now. They mike at .170. Waiting for a couple of pin guages to come in, in addition to what I have now. You are right. It's probably a lathe project. I found .188 pin stock in 17-4 stainless and C2 Tungsten. Those would have to be turned down and polished to fit. The 17-4 pin stock was 5 times higher than the Tungsten. Thanks for the info. |
